Lord Of The Rings First 1st Impression/Printing With Dust Jackets
 
Here is your chance to own a first impression set of The Lord of the Rings.
 
Fellowship of the Ring - Comes with 2nd impression dust jacket which has minor chips and smudges. Staining on the front and back cover with previous owner writing, Robert Hughes Oxford 1954 (possible student of Tolkien?). There is mild foxing throughout the book. There is also very mild fraying of the cloth cover at the bottom of the spine. The map is detached, but still in fantastic condition. Binding is tight. Book is in good plus to very good minus and dust jacket is very good.
 
The Two Towers - Comes with 2nd impression dust jacket. The dust jacket has an amateur repair with tape on the spine (shown in photo). Very mild staining on front cover with some fraying of the cloth cover at the bottom of the spine. Binding is tight. Previous owners name on front paper. Mild foxing throughout the book. Map is attached at the end of the book. Book is very good minus and dust jacket is very good plus.
 
The Return of the King - Comes with 1st impression dust jacket. The dust jacket has some minor chips at the top and bottom of the spine. Did not see much foxing in the book, but still should be mentioned. The book is the second state with the “4” at the bottom of page 49. Map is attached at the end of the book. The book is in overall very good plus condition. The dust jacket is in very good to very good plus condition.
